Join us

Our club is for dancers who love to ballroom dance in a social setting. While we accept ballroom dancers at all levels, we do expect our members to understand and follow social dance etiquette. Members should have the ability to exercise good floor craft to follow the line of dance for smooth dances.

If the Ballroom Dance Club of Naples is of interest to you, we require that you and your ballroom dance partner visit the Club for one of the events as a Guest before submitting an application to join. Since our dances are for couples, singles are welcome to join and bring a guest to all dances. For this reason, dues are the same for single or couple membership.

• Cost to attend as a Guest: $195 per couple for sit down dinner, dancing and live orchestra. (Cash bar available.)
• Guests must agree to the Rules and Regulations of the Club.

DANCE EVENT INFO

• Number of Dances per Season: Seven (November through April.)
• Event Venue: The Vineyard Country Club in Naples, FL.
• Event Days: Usually held on Sunday evenings depending upon venue.
• Music: Live Orchestra
• Type of Dances: Waltz, Foxtrot, Swing, Cha-Cha, Bolero, Night Club2, Tango, West Coast Swing, Viennese Waltz. Occasionally a Samba or Merengue.
• Dance Attire: “Semi-Formal” and “Formal”. (“Semi-Formal” is cocktail length or nice dresses or cocktail pantsuits for the women. Men wear suit coat and tie. “Formal” is floor length gowns or formal pantsuits for the women and men wear tuxedos or tux jackets. Men must wear jackets at all times, unless there is an extreme heat issue.)

TO BECOME A MEMBER

The number of club members is limited to avoid overcrowding on the dance floor.

• Submitting an application is no guarantee of admission. Waitlist may be established if club is at maximum capacity.  

COSTS OF MEMBERSHIP & EVENT INFO FOR THE CURRENT SEASON

• One-time Initiation Fee: $150 per couple.
• Annual Dues per Season: $250 per couple. (Dues are the same for a single or couple membership; singles are welcome to bring a guest.)
• Members who join mid-season: Annual fee of $250 (may be prorated, with a $100 minimum).
• Event Fee: $165 per couple per event for a full course sit-down dinner and dessert. (Cash bar is available.)
• Menu Selections: Members select their food option for each event. Options for each event include a meat, seafood or vegetarian/gluten free option. 
• Seating Preference: The club will make every attempt to honor seating preferences but cannot guarantee that preference. Members may be seated with other members and guests.
